Where are we meeting?

Community is a big word that means many things. I am a member of the Jewish Community, the Adams Morgan Community, the Mainer Diaspora Community, the Tuesday Night Chicken Wings Community and many others. One important community that I belong to is the Moss Family. My father, Pete Moss (yep), is an American Cultural Historian who studies many things but largely communities. He is the Donald and V. Cornelia Gibson Professor Emeritus at Colby College and former chair of the American Studies Department at Colby. He has a number of advanced degrees and has published books and scholarly articles about communities and their importance.
